The Sheriff’s main line handles custody and records routing because no separate public booking-records number is listed. Published 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. service hours apply to pistol-purchase work, registry updates, and non-court fingerprinting. They are not jail intake hours and should not be read as limiting when people can be booked.
Use the following route for the particular information needed:
- For an existing booking card, photograph, or jail record, follow the request steps on the Osceola County recent-arrests hub and submit the county FOIA form.
- For a fresh booking, use the Daily Arrest Report fallback and call the Sheriff, since no official same-day online feed was found.
- For selected incidents across several days, review the caveated Weekly Arrest Log. Newspaper blotters are not complete custody records.
- For release or transfer alerts tied to a participating record, use the VINELink Inmate Check and confirm Osceola County participation in the result.
- For a sentenced Michigan prisoner, use the Michigan Department of Corrections OTIS search. It is not a county booking roster.
- For federal custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. Immigration custody uses the appropriate DHS or ICE channel, not a Michigan county-jail search.
